Reflect your faith

Years ago while I was working at my previous church, one of the parents told me that before their kids leave the house they reminded them to reflect their faith. I like the idea of reflecting our faith.

Does the life you live reflect the faith you profess? Or do you profess to have a faith but your life does not show it? To often our Monday through Saturday lives are not what we talk about on Sunday. Do your neighbors know you are a Christian? Because you say so? Or is it because of your actions? Do your words life others up? Or do you bring people down? Do you ignore people in need? Or do you lend a hand?

Each day we are given the opportunity to show we are Christians. Has the song I learned in my youth says: "They will know we are Christians by our love, by our love." Do you love your neighbor?

Take time today and every day to let your actions to reflect your faith.
